Chemistry Careers Road Tour: The Adventure Continues at Inter Metro! 🚀🔬

On Friday, February 28, 2025, the Inter American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus became the epicenter of scientific inspiration as we kicked off the Chemistry Careers Road Tour: The Adventure Continues. This event, designed to ignite curiosity and passion for chemistry among middle and high school students, provided an exciting platform for learning, networking, and hands-on exploration.
A Historic Year: The Road to the 20th Anniversary of Festival de Química!
This year is particularly special as we prepare to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Festival de Química, one of the most impactful science outreach events in Puerto Rico. 🎉 Every stop of the Chemistry Careers Road Tour serves as a prelude to this iconic celebration, building momentum toward an event that has inspired thousands of students over the years. As we continue engaging students through interactive experiences and professional mentorship, we are setting the stage for an unforgettable Festival de Química!
An Unforgettable Experience
With an impressive turnout of around 180 students, along with teachers and volunteers, the Chemistry Careers Road Tour offered a diverse range of interactive exhibits, hands-on demonstrations, and engaging educational sessions. The event showcased the pivotal role of medicinal chemistry and artificial intelligence in therapeutic development and the role of chemistry in different career opportunities, a theme presented by distinguished guest speakers:
